I have barely any time to keep up with you these days. I don’t even have the time to do my manicures as often as I’d like. It often results in half assed nail stamping, where half the polish ends up on my skin rather than on my nail /horror.

I can’t keep up with Tumblr these days. The only time I have time to do things is in the wee hours of the morning (yep it’s 2:10am as I write this).

My room is a mess. My nail polishes need sorting. I need to finish my half completed craft projects. I wish you’d cut me a little slack.

Insomnia is getting the better of me these days. I did my nails with OPI’s Sapphire in the Snow stamped with Konad white with cutesy hearts and stuff. I’m normally not one for the graphic emoticons, but the mood struck me so.

I even went so far as to put one of those pearlescent heart things I got from a 99c nail art wheel I bought off eBay. It is amazing what junk I will buy if I have the funds.

I couldn’t go past the houndstooth design. Simple black and white. In sunlight and fluorescent light.

I do my nails too often.

What’s Hot

• Remixing my nail polish. I discovered that the purple bits were beginning to show tip wear (which annoys me endlessly). I removed the purple and replaced it with a white, pink and navy concoction. I’m obsessed with nail stamping and I can’t deny. (。・_・。)

• The numerous little tomatoes that are sprouting up in my garden. They are slowly growing bigger and bringing the stems down, but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it is so satisfying to grow your own veggies! I bought some more soil to extend my garden. I’m still awaiting any appearances from the elusive zucchini fairy.

• It seems an ever-growing trend that people chime in even though they don’t know the entire story. They offer their opinions even when it isn’t needed. Really now, kindly get your facts straight before you proffer your primitive thoughts. I guess it is inevitable, haters gonna hate. All I know is I’m not going to stoop to your level.

• How wind shield washers at the stop lights have evolved for the worse. I encountered not one, but TWO of the highly evolved variety. They splash a dollop of soapy water before you can even protest, then insist that they are giving you a ‘freebie’ and that if you could help out even for a dollar, it would be great. Seriously?

Happy Easter everyone! I’ve had a pretty productive start to the long weekend. I managed to clean the majority of my room. My nails are purple (what’s new?). I’m planning on squeezing in some gardening too. I need to put stakes into my tomato plant - I discovered the fruit is bringing the stalk down a little too much.

China Glaze Platinum Silver stamped over OPI My Private Jet.

I was in the mood for a little bit more colour today. I opted for Tiffany blue, a-la China Glaze’s For Audrey. I have mixed feelings about this colour. There are times I love it for its gorgeous hue and times that I loathe the neon-esque-ness. I’m making up words here now, so my apologies. I’m not feeling too verbose at the moment. I started off with the base colour and thought it looked a bit plain. I was lacking the time and energy to do some stamping, so decided to keep it simple and addded some pearls as an accent nail.
